Whole design is composed of five elliptical rings, which form the phoenix feather. Moreover, the inner two rings are based on primary stadium and arena’s roof shape. The outer three rings are in line with different sports sites’ lines, which can repre- sent polyfunctionality and comprehensiveness of this park. The reason why selecting five rings is that five rings can express more meanings, at same time, cater Olympic brand. What’s the most im- portant is that five rings can enhance brand’s extensibility. Namely, different events or cam- paigns’ logo can be created from these five rings. In addition, the five lines are coarse-to-fine from left to right, which can express natural feeling to make phoenix feather more dynamic. Meanwhile, the gradual change likes the ripple to match this sports park’s ideology. Last, the typefaces I selected are also simple and fashionable to satisfy modern aes- thetic requirements.
